Kuala Lumpur, 29 November 2024 – Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) through its digital arm PETRONAS Digital Sdn Bhd, and clean energy arm Gentari Sdn Bhd
(Gentari), have signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) with TM One, TM’s Enterprise and Government sector
business solutions arm.
Building on the companies’ longstanding collaboration to promote digital
transformation, sustainability, and growth, the MoU brings together PETRONAS’
industry expertise, TM’s advanced technology solutions, and Gentari’s renewable
energy and green mobility solutions, to drive substantial impact across
industries, communities, and the nation.
The MoU was exchanged between Ts. Shaharuddin Hamid
Mustapha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), PETRONAS Digital Sdn. Bhd. (PDSB); Shah Yang Razalli, Deputy CEO & Chief Green
Mobility Officer, Gentari; and Megawati Norhashim, Vice President, Enterprise Business, TM One.
The exchange was witnessed by Ir. Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof, Senior Vice
President, Project Delivery & Technology and Izwan Ismail, Vice President
of Group Technology & Commercialisation on behalf of PETRONAS and Gentari; and Shazurawati
Abd Karim, Executive Vice President for TM One at Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Ir. Yusri said,

the creation of valuable applications that harness the power of technology
including clean technologies, which can serve as benchmarks for large-scale

Through this collaboration,
PETRONAS and TM will expand product offerings to enterprise and consumer
markets, creating new revenue streams. The joint effort will also provide
advanced cloud solutions, as well as data centre and connectivity services to
Malaysian businesses, driving growth and innovation. Moreover, the integration
of Information
and Communication Technology (ICT) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions will
optimise city services, improve operational efficiency, and enhance public
services, contributing to a smarter and more sustainable future. With Gentari on board, the
partnership further explores the integration of clean energy solutions through solar
and EV charging in TM facilities.
PETRONAS and TM One will continue to set new
standards in the industry by harnessing cutting-edge technologies and
sustainable practices to create new milestones in Malaysia’s digital transformation.
