Published 1 October 2026

Gentari is pleased to announce the appointment of M. Huzaini Ghazali as Chief Hydrogen Officer and Nick Wright as Chief Commercial Officer, effective 1 October 2026.

M. Huzaini Ghazali will transition from his role as Chief Strategy and Portfolio Officer to Chief Hydrogen Officer, succeeding Michèle Azalbert. Nick Wright will join Gentari's leadership team as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the company's Data Centre and Enterprise Growth business.

These appointments strengthen our leadership team and bring together a blend of established Gentari experience and external expertise across two important areas of our business. Huzaini takes on the Hydrogen mandate with a strong foundation to build on, and I'm pleased to welcome Nick to the team. I would also like to thank Michèle Azalbert for her leadership in establishing our Hydrogen business and advancing opportunities across key markets. We wish her every success ahead.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, USA, and is a Sloan Fellow with an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management.

Nick Wright joins Gentari to lead the company's Data Centre and Enterprise Growth business. In this role, he will bring together Gentari’s data centre, power export and integrated energy efforts to support the evolving energy needs of hyperscale data centres and enterprise customers across the region.

As Senior Vice President of Business Development in Sarawak Energy, he was responsible for originating and negotiating major Power Purchase Agreements with power-intensive industrial customers, as well as cross-border power exchange agreements with Indonesia and other neighbouring markets. Earlier in his career, Nick served as Senior Advisor for Energy, Water and Mining to the Minister for Energy and Resources in Tasmania, Australia.
